Bal Bharati Public School, Pitampura, celebrated its 23rd Annual Day and Prize Distribution Ceremony on November 16. The Director of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi, Shri Vijay Kumar graced the occasion as the chief guest. The annual exhibition was also held on the same day and Dr. B. C. Sabata, Sr. Scientific officer, Dept. of Environment, Government of NCT of Delhi was the guest of honour. The cultural evening was an amalgamation of song, music and dance. The theme for the Annual Day portrayed the magic of the mystical number seven. The orchestra was based on raag Maalika and was followed by the invocation, ‘Bharata’s Sapta Nritya’, a performance based on the seven pure classical forms of Indian dance. The school principal Mr. S. C. Baveja presented the school’s annual report. The chief guest gave away the prizes to the meritorious students. The ballets presented by the students namely, ‘The Adventurous Ball’ and ‘Tenaliraman’ were the highlights of the day. The grand finale was the theme song ‘Sapta Ranga-The Colours of Harmony’  presented by the students of the middle and senior departments.
